Book Review :

Suckers: How Alternative Medicine Makes Fools of Us All (Paperback) by Rose Shapiro Rose is a books through the hard-hitting survey reveals, despite their growing popularity and expanding market share, there is no hard evidence that any of these so-called natural treatments actually work. It reveals how alternative medicine jeopardizes the health of those it claims to treat, leaches resources from treatments of proven efficacy, and is largely unaccountable and unregulated. Bracing and funny, this is a calling to account of a social and intellectual fraud that has produced a global delusion.Sad to say but I believe that peopel adopt this just becasue they are desperate to get heal by conventional western medicines. It is something to "belive in or feeling good " lot more than how it really works. What's more ironic is that those chinese doctors try so hard to promote it's ancient "wisdom" of medicine and try to make people believe in it.But the worst thigns is that when it come to serious illness. They are the first to turn into western medicine solutions. It is just a joke of how they want to country pride more than they can prove any science behinds them.
